Policies and Procedures


Booking Appointments:

  • All appointments new and returning must be booked online.

  • A credit card and deposit are required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation, this includes appointments that are utilizing a gift certificate, voucher, or a third party coupon. We hold this information encrypted & in adherence with our cancellation policy and only process necessary charges and/or fees to your account on the date of your scheduled service. Upon checkout, clients may choose their method of payment to cover the balance of charges.

  • If it is your first time coming to our office, please allow a little extra time to find the building & park. Client entry is admitted no more than 5 minutes before session time.

    Cancellation Policies and Fees :

    When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies.

  • Timely cancellation or reschedule of 24 hours notice is required to avoid same-day notification fee. 

  • Less than 24 Hr Cancellation & Same Day Rescheduling fees

    * applies to new & returning appointments

    * refers to any notice given within under 24hrs of scheduled appointment time

    * $50 for appointments over $100

    * 50% for appointments under $100 (same as your deposit)

  • No call, No show will be charged in full for the scheduled service. Promotional coupon or gift certificate in a no call no show, will be fully redeemed.

  • Appointments are considered No call, No Show 15 mins after scheduled start time for appointments 45 mins or less, 20 mins after scheduled start time for appointments over 45 mins.

  • We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service will be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other clients. Full price of scheduled services will still apply regardless of lateness, so please plan accordingly.


When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies. We recognize that everyone’s time is valuable and have implemented these policies for that reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment in that time slot. Additionally, many times scheduling is on an "on call" status and therefore we show specifically for your service.  

Because life happens, sickness happens and bad weather happens, there are times when concessions are considered. If you have a fever, have been in the hospital, have been experiencing vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, or if your children are ill and need you at home, please cancel. Equally, if there is an ice/snow storm, please do not drive or walk on the ice if you do not have to, but please call to cancel, if we haven’t already contacted you. These things should be emailed or call in to us, so we can accommodate and waive cancellation fees as appropriate. 

Parking:
Free & paid parking is available on 25th St, St Paul St and Calvert St. Please be mindful of any street signage and park close to the curb as these are very busy streets.


Cell Phones:
We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones to vibrate or silent upon arrival, that way it does not disturb the zen and calm of your treatment. Please inform your therapist should you need to make or are expecting a phone call during your session so that the disturbance is expected. Cell phone use may affect the length of your service(s). 

Prices and Services:
Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to take note of pricing when booking your appointment. 

Memberships and Packages:
We believe that all things done consistently expand in their effectiveness and results, which is why we have created the Sominbo Memberships to allow you to get services regularly at a discounted rate for sharing that belief and committing to your health and wellness. Booking and cancellation policy for memberships and any specialty packages adhere to all policies outlined above in the “Booking Appointments” and “Cancellation Policies and Fees” sections. Any appointment cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a redemption of that month’s service credit.

Sominbo Membership cost will be auto-debited 1x per month for 12 months, from the account you provided in the online booking system, upon set up. In the event that billing account information needs to be updated, you take full responsibility for updating billing account information in the online booking system. If an auto-debit is not able to be processed, membership will be halted and ultimately cancelled after 3 incomplete withdrawal attempts. A $20 reinstatement fee will be charged and due before restart membership. A written membership cancellation notice is due 30 days before my auto-debit membership date. Notice much be submitted in the form of an email or hardcopy letter, no cancellation phone calls will be accepted. Early membership cancellation refers to anytime prior to fulfilling a 12-month timeframe, a written cancellation is due 30 days prior to scheduled membership auto-debit date in order to not incur a $20 cancellation fee. All appointments must be pre-booked through the online booking system, and 24hr appointment cancellation notice is required. Any No Call/ No Show appointments will result in the forfeit of 1 monthly membership credit. Same day late reschedules/cancellations will be subject to a $40 removal of a membership credit from your account. Sominbo Wellness and all members enter the membership agreement professionally and respectfully. Agreeing to keep behavior respectful and refrain from any and all inappropriate behave and communications, as this is a professional relationship. Any inappropriate behavior or communication may result in the forfeiting of membership. No refunds will be issued for any membership fee withdrawals or forfeited credit if there is a violation of the above listed terms. If a refund is to be issued due to an error by Sominbo Wellness the refund will be returned to the account that is submitted in the online set up system, no cash or check refunds will be made. Electronic transfers can take up to 5-7 business days to be processed.

Sominbo Wellness Promotions
Sominbo Wellness specials cannot be used in combination with any other offer, promotions or third part gift certificates. Third party specials/vouchers can not be combined with Sominbo Wellness in house specials.

Gratuity:
Gratuity is not included in the price of service or wellness packages, customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion. You may tip the therapist during check out with cash, CashApp or Venmo.


Gift Certificate Policy:
Gift Certificates are available for purchase online at https://www.sominbowellness.com/gift-certificates/ Unfortunately, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transactions on gift certificates even if lost, misplaced, stolen or unwanted. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed as cash. Gift Certificates must be mentioned when making your appointment.

Personal Belongings:
Please place all personal belongings in the space designated by the therapist. After your session please check to be sure you have all you came in with. Sominbo Wellness is not responsible for lost or misplaced items. An attempt may be made to notify you of left items, however it is your responsibility to set up time to retrieve lost item(s).
